Retro Art Journaling

This art journaling class is going back to the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s for inspiration.  Using vintage magazines and books, markers, papers and other fun materials, we will make original works of art in book form.  Appropriate for all skill levels and ages 13 through adult.  Click HERE for details and registration.

In this messy, experimental class, we’ll explore the fun and very addicting technique of “dirty pours/flip cup” acrylic pours.  The results look like marble or even planets, when poured onto circular supports.  Learn how to create “cells” within your pours.  For more info click HERE.

Acrylic Pours II – Advanced Worskhop

In this fun follow up to Acrylic Pours I, we will explore advanced methods of pouring.  Each student will create at least 3 advanced mid- to large-size pieces as we explore swirl pours, patterned drip pours and large scale pours.  All materials provided.   Details and registration HERE.

Private/Semi-Private lessons can be scheduled with Misty on a weekly or as-needed basis  Students may learn new techniques, work on an ongoing piece, get advice on their portfolio or get help improving in drawing, painting, or mixed media methods.

Rate:  $40 for 1 hour, $50 for 90 minutes, or  $60 for a two-hour session.  Discounts are given for pre-payment of multiple classes.
