Retro Art Journaling

This art journaling class is going back to the 50s, 60s, 70s… and yes, even the 80s are now considered vintage (!). We will use retro booklets (mini cookbooks, pamphlets, etc.) as the base for our journals. Then, we will use vintage magazines for visual inspiration and collage materials. If you’ve done art journaling before, this will be a slightly different approach. If you haven’t that’s ok! This class is the perfect starting point to get into the art journaling groove. We will use collage, markers, stencils and papers to make original works of art in book form. The class will inspire you and give you lots of ideas to keep you busy this summer and beyond! Appropriate for all skill levels, ages 13 – adult.
