ADULTS & TEENS (13+) This is your time to make the art you’re interested in, with your own personal “art coach.” Receive personalized instruction in drawing, painting and/or mixed media techniques. We will discuss your goals before you start your lessons, and develop the skills you are interested in. These sessions are perfect for beginners, wanting to learn how to draw or paint, or for experienced artists, wanting to build up their portfolio. Each person works on their own project, at their own pace. The atmosphere is very relaxed — the pressure is off! Students are encouraged to purchase their own supplies as they learn. Some students use this as an open studio time to experiment with materials and techniques. Others come to the class with specific projects/goals in mind. Students work on a broad range of projects, including drawing, watercolor, acrylic painting, mixed media, collage, and experimental painting. Cost: $100/month – due at first session of each month.

Fine Print: Classes are $100/month, which includes 4 sessions. No reimbursements for unattended classes. If you miss a class, you may select another session for a make-up class, if available. Only one (1) make-up session per month. If class is cancelled by the instructor (due to weather, illness or emergency), an alternative make-up session will be offered.
Supplies: Students are asked to bring their own supplies. See our Suggested Supply Lists. If you are not sure which supplies to purchase or bring, contact Misty to discuss your next project and where to begin.
Liability: Students who are actively enrolled may leave in-progress works in the studio between classes. All due care will be taken in protecting the works-in-progress. However, Fresh Paint Studio is not liable for any damage to works left in the studio. Space is limited, so please only leave one or two smaller works between sessions. Any items left in the studio over 60 days may be recycled. By registering for classes, you agree to hold Fresh Paint Studio free from any liability in the event of accident or injury to yourself, your materials or personal belongings during any classes.
